Texas-raised Don Cullum came to competition cooking later in life, after brother-in-law Kevin Foley brought him to a 2010 cook-off; he was ICS Homestyle World Champion in 2024. His wife Karen won the 2025 Homestyle title, and his in-laws Kevin and Donna Foley are both ICS world champions.
How they cook
Small-cubed chuck shoulder in a low-sodium broth base, seasoned in three dumps led by Texas Red Dog and San Antonio Red powders, with a little habanero at the end.
